Johann Andreas Stein (1728-1792)
Inventor of the “Viennese” action

The following treatises discuss performance practices during the 18th century. While the Leopold Mozart and Johann Joachim Quantz treatises aren’t about keyboard playing, they are still great sources about general Classical-era performance practices.
